Selina and Andy have already left a great review on Facebook and Google+. I thought it was about time I posted a few photos.
Selina and Andy were married in the impressive St Andrew’s in the Square in Glasgow. An 18th century category A listed former church and now Glasgow’s Centre for Scottish Culture. It is a magnificent building inside and out.
This being Glasgow in January we got a bit of all weathers and the chauffeur had the embarrassment of his umbrella turning inside-out. It stopped raining in time for the bride and the group photos after the ceremony, but by the time the evening guests started arriving it was snowing. The evening’s entertainment was provided by a Mersey-Beat band made up of friends and family from Milan. Yes, you read that right. And they were brilliant. I doubt they are often available for hire in Scotland, but if they are I’ll let you know.
It was a fab day and with the great band playing lots of favourites into the evening everyone got up to dance.
It was blizzarding on the M8 on the way home, but that’s what snow tires are for!
Thanks Selina and Andy for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
